EGCE 377 - Civil Engineering Materials Laboratory (1)

Prerequisites: EGCE 324, EGCE 325. Behavior and properties of most common materials, e.g., steel, concrete, wood, masonry and asphalt. Mix design of asphalt and concrete. Determine strain and stress using strain gages. Specimen testing according to ASTM. Material properties determination. Safety, reliability and design considerations. (3 hours laboratory)
