Pre- or corequisite: BIOL 101. Laboratory experiments demonstrating the principles presented in the lecture course. Scientific inquiry, cell structure and function, physiology, genetics, biodiversity, evolution and ecology. For non-science majors. (3 hours laboratory or fieldwork; weekend field trips may be required).
