AMST 440 - American Folk Culture (3) American culture from the perspectives of particular folk groups and through the eyes of the “common” person, past and present. Interpretation of artifacts and oral traditions; relationships between regional, ethnic and folk identity; modernization and folk consciousness.
Prerequisites: Completion of G.E. Category D.2 or Category D.3 or graduate standing.
