AMST 320 - Women in American Society (3)

Socio-cultural history of women and women’s movements in American society. Emphasis on 19th and 20th centuries. Cultural models of American womanhood - maternal, domestic, sexual, social - their development and recent changes.  Some sections may be taught in any online format.

Prerequisite: Completion of G.E. Category D.1.
