Introduction to requirements for National Board certification; developing portfolio entries and analyzing candidate’s teaching (self, peer and instructor) with respect to models of teaching and teachers’ work; review research related to professional teaching standards. One or more sections may be offered in any online format.

Prerequisite: graduate standing and consent of graduate adviser.
