EDSC 410 - Teaching English Learners in Secondary Schools (3)

Research-based approaches and strategies for teaching English learners in secondary schools. Theories of language acquisition and development. Cognitive, linguistic, socio-cultural and political factors that affect English language development. Legal issues pertaining to the education of English learners. One or more sections may be offered in any online format.

Prerequisite: EDSC 310 .
