Major directions, designs and assumptions of science education reform, such as the nature of science and scientific inquiry, scientific literacy, National Science Education Standards, state curricular frameworks, standards, and international and national science assessment. How reform affects curriculum, major curricular projects and curricular evaluation. One or more sections may be offered in any online format. (3 hour lecture)
