CalState TEACH

CalState TEACH is a non-traditional program that offers a student teaching and intern program for qualified candidates interested in earning their California multiple subject credential in mobile learning format. CalState TEACH participants share ideas through web-based class discussions, cohort modeling, and professional feedback delivered through on-site coaching by faculty and site mentors.

All CalState TEACH participants receive an iPad which contains all course materials and e-textbooks. This gives the participants the flexibility of participating in the program from any location.

Program Continuation

Once admitted, continuation in the program is based on continuous and satisfactory progress as assessed at specific transition points throughout the program, including passage of the California Teaching Performance Assessments (TPA).

Application for Teaching Credentials

Upon completion of the CalState TEACH multiple subject credential program, the credential candidate must submit an application to the Commission on Teacher Credentialing through the CalState TEACH credential analyst and verify passage of the Reading Instruction Competence Assessment (RICA). The CalState TEACH credential  analyst is located in College Park 570.
