Anatomy, physiology, evolution and biology of insects and other terrestrial arthropods. Dissection, collection, identification and observation of living arthropods. (2 hours lecture, 6 hours laboratory or fieldwork; weekend field trips may be required.)

Prerequisites: completion of biology lower-division core or graduate standing.
