THTR 541 - Voice and Movement for the Actor (2)

Three-year arc of advanced study. Six three-part studio courses on developing, conditioning and transforming actor’s vocal and physical instrument. Fitzmaurice Voicework, International Phonetic Alphabet, dialects and accents, yoga, nutrition and wellness, stage combat, contact improvisation, character transformation, Feldenkrais and additional voice/movement methodologies. Required in each semester of all three years for M.F.A acting students. May be repeated five times for credit.
