THTR 240A - Beginning Scene Study and Rehearsal Techniques (3)

Students begin to develop more complex acting elements: sense of truth, behavior, given circumstances, relationships, as well as how to rehearse effectively without a coach present. Contemporary American Playwrights as source material for scene study. Techniques utilized: Hagen, Michael Chekhov, Meisner (6 hours activity)

Prerequisite: THTR 140 .
