GEOL 410 - Planet Earth for Educators (3)

Physical and chemical interactions among major Earth systems (e.g., geosphere, atmosphere and hydrosphere) considered within the context of Earth’s position in its solar system and in space. Appropriate for elementary teachers. Not available for graduate degree credit in M.S. Geology; available for graduate credit in M.A.T.S. in the science education program. (2 hours lecture, 2 hours activity)

Prerequisites: completion of G.E. Categories B.4 and B.1 or B.2.
