BIOL 467 - Entomology (4)


Anatomy, physiology, evolution and biology of insects and other terrestrial arthropods. Dissect, collect, identify and observe living arthropods. (2 hours lecture, 6 hours laboratory or fieldwork; weekend field trips may be required.)

Prerequisites: Biology majors: BIOL 251  and BIOL 253L , or BIOL 273 ; BIOL 252  and BIOL 254L , or BIOL 274 . All other majors: BIOL 151  or BIOL 172 ; BIOL 152  or BIOL 171 ; BIOL 252  and BIOL 254L , or BIOL 274 ; or graduate standing. All prerequisites must be completed with a “C” (2.0) or better.
